Jennifer Anne Williams, 40, of Charlotte, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at her residence.
Jennifer was born June 17, 1980 in Louisville, Kentucky to Eleanor Anne Patton Williams and Martin Marion Williams.
Survivors include her mother and father, Anne and Marty Williams of Harrisburg, NC, and her brother, Martin Michael Williams, 37, of San Francisco, CA.
Jennifer was a sweet, pretty, and intelligent women with a mischievous laugh and an unforgettable personality. In her high school years, she was known as a social butterfly to her many friends.
She was an excellent student and high achiever, graduating from Central Cabarrus High School and then UNC Chapel Hill with a double major, English Literature and Spanish. Two of her more memorable summers during college were summers spent in Spain immersed in the language and culture.
Her love for literature and poetry led her to attend graduate school at the University of Maryland where she had ambitions to pursue a career as a college professor.
Yet while in college, she developed TMJ/ jaw joint issues which unfortunately turned into a lifelong battle of fighting chronic pain, depression, and limited her career and life goals.
Despite her struggles, she remained a true friend and made a concerted effort to stay connected and in touch with her many friends over the years. She used her love for writing to create beautifully detailed and heartfelt letters to those she knew.
She left this earth way too early, but she is at peace now and rests in God’s loving arms.
