Jerome Hobby

Jerome Reginald Hobby, 82 years of age, of Locust, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC.
Jerome was born July 31, 1935 in Atlanta, GA, to the late Isaac Grady Hobby and the late Zona Mae Brady Hobby.
He was also preceded in death by wife, Joyce Ann Chambers Hobby; and stepson, Buddy Diller.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Survivors include daughter, Jennifer (Nathan) Moye of Okeechobee, FL; stepdaughter, Susan (Robert) Craig of Boone, NC; three grandchildren, Tyler Wagoner, Kim Craig, and Chris Craig; and four great-grandchildren, Taylor Craig, Riley Craig, Eli Craig, and Alan Wilson.
Memorials may be made to the Stanly County Humane Society, 2409 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001.
