Jerry Almond

Jerry Dean Almond, 68 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Almond was born February 4, 1949 in Stanly County to the late Carlie Joseph Almond and the late Sarah Frances Almond.

The memorial service will be on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Badin Baptist Church, 28 Falls Road in Badin at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Sid Martin and Rev. B.J. Bowers. Family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Survivors include wife, Lois Almond of Albemarle; son, Dean Almond and wife Penny of LaGrange, GA; grandson, Zachary Almond of Albemarle; granddaughter Emily Butler of LaGrange, GA; sisters, Margaret Hathcock (Blane), Elaine Barrier (Hoyle), Jane Creed (Darrell), Nancy Almond; brothers, Jimmy Almond, Larry Almond, Buddy Almond (Barbara); and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Badin Baptist Church, 28 Falls Road, Badin, NC 28009.
