Jerry Wayne Everhart, 74, of Concord, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. He was born April 24, 1940 to Clyde William Everhart and Arwilda Essick Everhart.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marcia; son Douglas (Amy) of Lexington; daughter Cindy Conner (Michael) of Midland; grandchildren Andrew and Carmen Everhart, Amber and Amy Conner; 3 step-granddaughters; brother Sonny Everhart (Evelyn) of Lexington; sister Judy Martin (Bobby) of Welcome; mother-in-law Jerrie Lomax of Harrisburg; brother-in-law John Lomax (Cindy) of Charlotte; 2 nieces; 2 nephews and Bella, his favorite Maltese.

Jerry was a former employee of Bahnson Company in Winston-Salem with over 20 years of service. Jerry was retired from Robertson Airtech International of Charlotte. He was a former member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and President of the United Methodist Men. He also was a retired volunteer fireman having served over 25 years with Jackson Park Fire Department and Welcome Fire and EMS. He was a devoted husband, father and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Funeral services will be held at Westford United Methodist Church in Concord on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 11:00. The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 - 8:00 on Monday March 23, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord.
