Jerry Honeycutt

Jerry Wayne Honeycutt, 62 years of age, of Locust, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at his sister's residence in Locust.

Jerry was born March 11, 1954 in Stanly County to the late Bruce Edward Honeycutt and the late Mary Ruth Almond Honeycutt. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Edward, J.D., Wade, and Mike Honeycutt; and sister, Irene Sanders.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Jody Wetta will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, 13575 Broadway Ave., Midland, NC 28107. Burial will follow at the Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Locust.

He is survived by his sons, Michael, Little Dewey, and Jonathan Honeycutt; daughters, Teresa Massey, Tabitha and Tisha Honeycutt; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Mary Smith, Johnsie Helms; brothers, Boyd, Hugh and Herman Honeycutt; and multiple nieces and nephews.
