Jerry Long

Jerry Wayne Long, 68 of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at home. A Funeral service will be held at Kerr Street United Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 4 pm, with Rev. Jim Hood officiating. Jerry was born on April 20, 1943 in Cabarrus County, to the late James Baxter Long, Sr. and Mary Frances Greene Long. Jerry was a Vietnam Navy veteran. He was a truck driving instructor for Trans-Tech formerly Charlotte Diesel Driving School. He is survived by: daughter, Taffy Long Price of Harrisburg; brother, Jim Long and wife Nancy of Winston Salem; grandchildren, Haley Nicole Price of Harrisburg.
