Jerry Paige

Jerry Dean Paige, 75, of Oakboro, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home.

Mr. Paige was born January 29, 1944 in Stanly County to the late William Henry Morgan  and the late Geneva Paige Morgan. He was also preceded in death by brother, Floyd Morgan.

Jerry was a loving husband and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was a licensed electrician who began his career in the manufactured mobile home industry and finished in the healthcare industry. He was a highly respected co-worker, neighbor, and friend. Jerry lived in the Frog Pond community for over 50 years and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm, Monday, December 16, 2019, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 3:00 pm  at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 17236 Frog Pond Road in Oakboro officiated by Dr. Mark Mabry, Rev. Marvin Tyson, and Rev. Trent Drye.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include wife, Janice Speights Paige of Oakboro; daughters, Jana Paige Kennedy (Scott) and Joan Paige Crisco (Donnie); grandchildren, Blair Kennedy Dover (Paul), Tristan Kennedy, Kyle Crisco and Kody Crisco; great-grandchildren, Eli Dover and Brexley Dover; sister, Gail Morgan Whitley (Aubrey).

Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 17236 Frog Pond Road, Oakboro, NC 28129 or Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
