Jerry Ross

Jerry Hampton Ross, 83 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Friday, December 2, 2016.
Jerry was born November 19, 1933 in Concord, NC to the late C.E. "Chock" Ross and the late Hamplene "Whink" Yow Ross.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Patsy Ross; as well as his brother Bill Ross.
Survivors include his son Lane Ross and wife Vanessa; granddaughters include Shellie Tyson and husband Bryan; Tracie Towery and husband Eric; great grandchildren Ryan, Riley, Nick and Kylie; and his brother Ronnie Ross.
He was a member of Westford United Methodist Church, and proudly served in the United States Army.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Jeff Rushing. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westford United Methodist Church.
