Jerry Talbert

Jerry Morrison Talbert, 74 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his residence.

Mr.Talbert was born September 1, 1942 in Stanly County to the late William Allen Talbert and the late Ina Rogers Talbert. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Coley Talbert; his son, Howard Craig Talbert; brothers, Marvin, Bill, James and John; and sisters, Hattie Bell and Carol.

Jerry was a big hearted and fun loving person whose generosity knew no end. His interests included hunting, fishing, camping and four wheeling. Jerry received a great deal of enjoyment from volunteering his time to The Community Table and Inn.

Due to weather conditions the memorial service has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 15th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at The Hut at Rock Creek Park in Albemarle.

Survivors include daughters, Renee Talbert Austin and husband Robin and Tina Talbert Wright and husband John both of Albemarle; five grandsons, Garrett and John Austin, and Anthony, Aaron and Austin Kincaid; and nine great grandchildren

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bridge to Recovery, 7312 Hillford Road, Oakboro, NC 28129.
