Mr. Jerry Wayne Welty Sr., 63, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Cold Springs United Methodist Church, 2550 Cold Springs Road, East, Concord, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Jerry was born on June 28, 1952 in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Melba Litz. He is preceded in death by his best friend and partner, Pamela Beers.
Jerry loved spending time with his family, Playing video games, and eating cookies and milk.
He is survived by his mother, Melba Litz; daughters, Rachel Welty; Pamela McCarter and husband, Michael; Cristy Flowe and husband, Don Buck; sons, Jerry Welty Jr.; Jason Beers and partner, Anna Dygas; grandchildren, Ashley Dejesus, Nicholas Dejesus, Jillian McCarter, Jaquelin McCarter, Eli Welty, Alex Flowe, Austin Flowe, Ryan Buck, Brandon Buck; great-grandchildren, Alyssandra Saenz.
