Mr. Jesse Junior Broadway, 68, of Concord, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.
Born on October 27, 1941 in Stanly County to the late Jesse Lee Broadway and the late Nola Mae (Hahn) Broadway, Mr. Broadway was a graduate of Oakboro High School and Kings Business College. He was a retired dry cleaning chemical salesman, and was a member of Miami Baptist Church.
The family meeting place will be at the home.
A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home-Concord on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 6 PM until 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held at Miami Baptist Church on Monday, November 02, 2009 at 11 AM following a 30 min. state, with the Rev. Robert Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Sue E. Broadway of the home; son, Anthony Lee Broadway of Concord, NC; daughter, Lisa Preslar of Mt. Pleasant, NC; brothers, Wade Broadway of Midland, NC; and C.T. Broadway of Concord, NC; sisters, Vallie Efird of Locust, NC; Margie Howard of Oakboro, NC; and Linda Braswell of Mint Hill, NC; and granddaughters, Holly Noel, Jessie Taylor, Summer LeAnn, Stephene Gwenn, Amandah Maree, and Emma Grace.
