Jesse Kidd

Jesse Elton Kidd, 15, of 4013 Polk Ford Road Stanfield passed away on Friday, July 30, 2010 at CMC-Main in Charlotte. Born on February 3, 1995 in Mecklenburg County. Jesse was a student at West Stanly High School. He was a member of First Assembly Church in Albemarle. Jesse liked to ride dirt bikes. He was very interested in auto mechanics, and loved Mustangs and collecting Mustang collectables. The family meeting place will be the home. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 6 until 8:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at First Assembly Church on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11 AM following a 30 Min. state, with the Rev. Bob Gruver officiating. Burial will follow at Oakboro Cemetery. Survived By: parents, Ivey "Wesley" Kidd and Pamela Smith Kidd of the home; maternal grandparents, Carl and Judy Smith of Stanfield; paternal grandmother, Mavis Kidd of Oakboro; great-grandmother, Pauline Tucker of Stanfield; aunts & uncles, Kay and Gene Hodges of Charlotte, Dennis and Kathy Kidd of Oakboro, Tim and Patsy Kidd of Monroe, Barbara and Greg Panos of Charlotte, Jeff and Twyla Kidd of Albemarle, Scottie and Amy Smith of Stanfield; and numerous cousins. Jesse was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Elton Kidd.
