Jessica Winfield

Jessica Lynn Hageter Winfield , 41, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Jessy was born November 15, 1979 in Easton, Pennsylvania, to the late Richard John Hageter and Penny Brittingham Hageter.

Jessy graduated Central Cabarrus High School a semester early with the class of 1997. Jessy rode horses for most of her life and it became her unwavering passion. She was an accomplished and a respected USEF/USHJA trainer and mentored, taught, and befriended countless students of all ages and skill levels through the years. She loved camping and attending concerts, especially MXPX (12 times).  Her parents raised a beautiful, graceful, caring, charitable, respectful, and honest daughter that was unforgettable when graced with her friendship.  Her sense of humor will be missed but not forgotten.

Survivors include husband of 14.5 years, Lee Winfield of Concord; mother, Penny Hageter of Concord; parents-in-law, Robert and Terry Winfield of Mills River; sister-in-law, Karen (Preston) Reece of Zionville; brother-in-law, Sam (Nina) Winfield of Fletcher; and nephews, Jake, Simon, Zack and Cooper; and faithful puppies, Blue and Mia.

In celebration of Jessy's life, the family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.
