Jewell Delphia-Jane (Austin) Austin, age 86, of Marshville, N.C., died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at CMC Union in Monroe, N.C. Austin was self - employed as a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Marshville, N C. . She was the daughter of the late George "Pet" Austin and the late Pearl (Walters) Austin. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Daughter-Patricia (Austin) Mullis of Stanfield Daughter-Lorraine (Austin) Helms of New Salem Daughter-Angel (Austin) Tarleton of New Salem Four Sons, Son-Allen Austin of New Salem Son-Royce Austin of New Salem Son-Boyce Austin of New Salem Son-Tim Austin of Locust One Sister, Sister-Zeda Austin of New Salem Sixteen grandchildren Sixteen great-grandchildren She is also preceded in death by her husband Homer David Austin. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle, P. O. Box 7, Albemarle, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Funeral service will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Marshville, N C at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2009 , Rev. Gene Lee Hopkins Rev. Ollis Revels officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshville, N.C.
