Lula Jewell Johnson, 66 years of age, of Concord, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Carolina's Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Jewell was born May 29, 1949 in Tennessee to the late Sam Alvin Fulkerson and Reba Lillie Fulkerson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Kendrick's Creek United Methodist Church in Kingsport, TN at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Susan Lankford.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Johnson; her son, Steven Johnson, both of the home; two sisters, Clarice Maddox of Kingsport, TN and Brenda Strickler of Gray, TN.
Jewell worked at SAM's Club in Kannapolis as a vendor and demonstrator of products and was also a homemaker. Jewell was known for her great personality. She had a big heart for everyone she met and will be truly missed by family and friends.
