Jim Temple

Jim W. Temple born October 13, 1948, entered into Heaven on April 30, 2022.

Jim retired from the Engineering group at Duke Energy after 41 years of service. He attended Redemption Church of Concord. Jim had a love for Jesus and a love for people. He loved spending time with his wife, Linda; she was the love of his life. They built a wonderful life together, filled with lots of love and beautiful grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, his sons Troy (Karla) and Keith (Jennifer), and his daughters, Jennifer Bost (Ronnie) and Emily Madison (Bradley).

He is survived by 11 Grandchildren, Maddie Temple, Katy Temple, Sophia Temple, Cecelia Temple, MaryKatherine Temple, Taylor Bost, Easton Bost, Caroline Bost, Sadie Madison, Preston Madison, and Clara Madison and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother Eddie Temple of Garner, NC and sisters Sheila Baskins, Brenda Flora and Wanda Henderson of Florida.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne B. Temple and Sue H. Temple.

The Visitation will be Thursday, May 5th, 2022 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The Funeral Service will be Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 11:00am at Kerr Memorial Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 3892 NC Hwy 73 E, Concord, NC 28025.

The family would like to thank Tucker Hospice House for the excellent care they gave to Jim.
