Jimmie Fraley

Jimmie Brinson Fraley, age 77, of New London, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Saturday, December 10 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. At other times, the family will meet at his home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 2 p.m. at the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Austin officiating, assisted by Rev. Charles Young, III. Burial will follow at New London Cemetery. Mr. Fraley was born in Stanly County on January 28, 1934, to the late Walter Fred Fraley and the late Gertie Jerome Sides Fraley. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Emma Jean Hudson Fraley, of the home; son, T. Fraley and wife Shelia of Denton; daughters, Peggy Misenheimer and husband Randy of Gold Hill, Gloria Austin and husband Wayne of New London, Freda Simpkins and husband Jim of Richfield; step-daughters, Wanda Snider and husband Tim of Asheboro and Francisca Hartsell and husband Keith of Albemarle; grandchildren, Michael Fraley, Keith Fraley, Amy Almond; step-grandchildren, Jamie Ryan, Joey Furr, Ashley Lacey, Felicia Cole; 9 great-grandchildren.
