Jimmy Clontz

Jimmy Alan Clontz, 72, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Mr. Clontz was born on March 14, 1950, to the late Carl Alonzo and Georgia Greene Clontz.

Jimmy was an avid sportsman that especially loved to fish and hunt. He was a devoted fan of the Duke Blue Devils. He was a devout, humble Christian that loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing his faith everywhere he went. Jimmy dearly loved his friends and family.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:45 pm, on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Zion United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Fish Rd., Monroe. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Norma Villagrana, and Rev. Mark Clontz. Burial will conclude in the church cemetery.

Jimmy is survived by the love of his life and caregiver, Susan Eudy Clontz of Monroe, NC; daughters, Belinda Clontz Sarooei, and husband, Sasson, of Woodland Hills, CA., Tanya Clontz Krome and husband Matt, of Concord, NC; beloved granddaughter, Madison Lee Krome; brothers, Jerry Clontz and wife Dru, of Monroe, NC., Mark Clontz and wife Debbie, of Norwood, NC; nieces and nephews, Matt Clontz, Chris Clontz, Ashley Price, Kelly Cook; several great-nieces and nephews.
