Jimmy Hathcock, Jr

Jimmy Eugene "Gene" Hathcock, Jr., 54 years of age, of Mount Gilead, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at his home.

Gene was born September 4, 1959 in Stanly County to the late Jimmy Eugene Hathcock, Sr. and the late Betty Lou Efird Crisco.

There are no arrangements at this time.

He is survived by his aunts, Elizabeth Ann "Lucy" Montgomery and husband Michael of Albemarle, Barbara Lee Hedrick and husband Gene of Albemarle, Margaret Garmon of Norwood, and Ruby Weathersbee of Greensboro; uncle, Doug Hathcock of Monroe; stepsisters, Debbie Thomas of Albemarle, and Brenda Coley.
