Jimmy Tucker

Jimmy Leonard Tucker, Jr., 37, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at home.

Jimmy was born May 14, 1980 in Stanly County to the late Jimmy Leonard Tucker, Sr. and the late Kathy Sue Cox Tucker. He was also preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Eugene Cox, and Betty Tucker.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service to celebrate his life will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2017, at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Brian Burris and Rev. Gary Cox. At other times, the family will be gathering at his aunt, Sandy Hunter's home, 224 Park Ridge Rd., Albemarle.

He is survived by his son, Kameron Tucker of Mt. Pleasant; special companion, Tanya Lisk of Mt. Pleasant; grandparents, Linda Sue Cox and William "Bud" Tucker, both of Albemarle; aunt, Sandy Hunter of Albemarle; uncles, Steven Tucker of Albemarle, Rodney Cox of Norwood; nieces, Miranda, Jaitlyn, and Morgan Cox, Kamaria Little, all of Albemarle; best friend, Shane Rummage of Albemarle, and step-sister, Devon Blaylock of Virginia; and cousin, Mark Higdon of Kannapolis.

Jimmy was a loving and devoted father, companion, nephew, and friend. He was full of life, and loved spending time with his friends, who were all family to him. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him.
