Joan Bizuk Harris, 72 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Harris was born June 17, 1945 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Walter Dennis Bizuk and the late Ida Ransdell Bizuk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Ray Harris.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle.
Survivors include daughter, Cheryl Godwin and her husband Don; son, John David Whitley and his wife Brenda; grandchildren, Nikki Sides and Marshall Sides; and great-grandchildren, Victor Parker, III and Khalad Sides.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the family.
