Joann Wing

JoAnn Holt Wing, 58, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

JoAnn was born October 8, 1962 in Stanly County to the late Robert Andrew Holt, Sr. and Jewel Louise Furr Holt.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Steve Combs. She will be laid to rest at Fairview Memorial Park. At other times, the family will be gathering at the home of Chris and Danyelle.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Robert Lee Wing, Christopher Allen (Danyelle) Wing, Gary  Lambert; daughter, Amber Wing; brothers, Robert Andrew (Delores) Holt, Jr., Cecil James (Teresa) Furr; sister, Patti Durilla Boles; three grandchildren, Destiny (Kenny Poplin) Blalock, Dylan Blalock, Denver Blalock; two great-grandchildren, RaeLynn "Peanut" Poplin, Hudson Poplin; ex-husband, David Wing; and her beloved fur baby, Buddy.

JoAnn was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all.  She loved the Lord, and read her Bible everyday. She also enjoyed life's pleasures like food and sunbathing.
