Jodi Lynn Oberlies Mainer, 42, of Concord, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at home with her family by her side. Jodi was born on April 15, 1969 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Kenneth Mainer; her daughter Hannah; Her father, Don Oberlies and wife, Beverly of Harrisburg, NC; her mother, JoAnn Vogt and husband, Eric of Houston, TX; father-in-law, Thedford Glenn Mainer, Sr. of Harrisburg; three sisters, Stacy Farrugia, husband Charles, and sons, Charlie and Anthony of Sugarland TX; Amy Logsdon, husband Jeremy and sons, Cory, Brendin and Kaleb of Harrisburg, NC, Whittney Chauta and husband, Matt of Lynchburg, VA; step-sister, Karen Partee, husband Mack and sons O’Neal and Caleb; three step-brothers, Mike Hughes, wife Kim and daughters, Jackie and Heather, Eric Vogt, Jr. and Fred Vogt. Jodi worked at Harleysville Insurance in Charlotte, NC for several years and Carolina Digestive prior to her illness. The center of her life was her deep faith as a Christian and her devoted family. The family wishes to express their thanks for the excellent and loving care given by Carolinas Medical Center – Main, Carolinas Medical Center – NE and Blumenthal Cancer Center . The staff members truly exemplify their core values of Caring-Commitment-Integrity and Teamwork. Thanks also to Adrian Vollendorf of C&C Company Salon & Spa. A celebration of Jodi’s life will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation preceding the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The service will be held at Pitts Baptist Church, 140 Pitts School Road, Concord, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Hartsell Funeral Home c/o Jodi Mainer’s account, PO Box 367, Concord, NC 28026. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the family.
