Joe Broome

Joe Reid Broome, 75, of Concord , passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Broome was born July 18, 1937 in Union County to the late Willie Joe Broome and Nora Broome Broome. Mr. Broome was a diesel mechanic. The family will receive friends at Pine Grove Baptist Church 100 Pine Grove Church Road Concord on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 4 until 5 pm. Funeral services will follow at the church at 5 pm, with Rev. Bobby Eller and Rev. Victor Dermid to officiate. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Brenda Ruth Campbell Broome of the home; sons, Marty Broome of Indian Trail, and Michael Broome and wife Becky of Kannapolis; grandchildren, Candace Cox, and Tiffany Broome; and great-grandchild, Connor Cox.
