Joe Lee Burris, 63, passed away March 21, 2012 at Hefner Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. Born October 1, 1948 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Burch Elem Burris and the late Annie Mae Belle Huneycutt Burris. He is survived by sisters, Mary Schreppel, Monzell Coley, Ruby Hudson and Susie Bowers, all of Albemarle. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 North First St, Albemarle, NC 28001 .
