Joe Goodman

Joe Glenn Goodman, age 59, of Rowland Road, Albemarle, NC passed away October 17, 2009 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Mr. Goodman was born in Stanly County on June 17, 1950, son of the late Raymond Glenn Goodman and Jennie Sue Graham Willingham. He enjoyed racing his 1972 Vega, blue grass music, going to the mountains and spending time time with family and friends. He also enjoyed going to the fish house on Thursday evenings. Joe Glenn Goodman is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kathy Marie Troublefield Goodman of Albemarle; his sons, Michael Goodman, Joey and wife Amy Goodman, Dennis Goodman, Jeffrey Dan Goodman, and Tyler; Great granddaughters Alisa and Dixie Marie; his step-father, Fred Willingham of Albemarle; daughter at heart, Danette Howell; many special friends and family members; and his beloved pets, Banjo and Jackie. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 12:00 PM at Goodman's Inc., 465 W. Main Street, Albemarle.
