Joe Kissiah

Joe Ellis Kissiah, age 69 of 16203 Oak Grove Road, Oakboro, NC 28129, passed away on November 04, 2010 at his home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Monday from 1 to 2. At other times they will be at his home. Funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Monday at 2 PM. Rev. Dac Croasmun will officiate. Born in Stanly County on June 23, 1941, he was the son of the late John Ellis and the late Stela Kissiah. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Helms Kissiah of the home; daughters, Angie Stephens, Annette Kissiah and Amanda Espanazo; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was a retired auto mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
