Joe Steele

Joe Edward Steele, 72, of 1515 Mark Drive Concord passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Avante of Concord. Born on June 27, 1938 in Mecklenburg County to the late Curtis Edward and Pearl Stillwell Steele. Mr. Steele graduated from East Mecklenburg High School. He was former owner of Steele’s Body and Paint Shop. A Memorial service will be held at the home of a daughter Christy Wheeler in Mint Hill on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 6:30 PM. Survived by: wife, Shelia Baity Steele of the home; son, Joe E. Steele, II of Florida; daughters, Melissa Congram of Florida, Debbie Rice of Charlotte, and Christy Wheeler of Mint Hill; and 5 grandchildren.
