Joe Varnadore, Jr

Mr. Joe William "Pete" Varnadore Jr., 98, of 185 Wilkinson Court Apt. 136,Concord, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast. Born March 30, 1912 in Lancaster County, Sc to the late Joe William Varnadore Sr. and Minnie Coats Varnadore. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. The family meeting place will be the son’s home at 250 Old Airport Road, Concord. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Lucille Varnadore. He is survived by his son, Joe William Varnadore III and his wife Shelby, of Concord, grandson Mark Varnadore and his wife Pam, of Concord, great-grandchildren, Cody and Carly Varnadore, of Concord. The family wishes to express thanks to Mable Cooper, Mary Lou Masterson, and Yolanda Gatewood for the love and care that was given to Joe.
