Joel Greene

Joel Edward Greene, 84, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Anson Health & Rehabilitation in Wadesboro

Joel was born March 17, 1937 in Stanly County to the late Henry Rufus Greene and Louise Thomas Greene. He was also preceded in death by wife, Laura Pearlene Greene, and step-grandson Jimmy McCombs.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm, Friday, May 28, 2021 at Aquadale Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The Graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm officiated by Darrell Shaver at Aquadale Baptist Church Cemetery,  32871 Church Rd, Norwood.

Survivors include sons, Tony (Sharon) Greene and Rodney (Louise) Greene; grandsons, Casey (Lynn) Greene and Seth (Stephanie) Greene; granddaughter, Melody Greene; step grandson, Kris (Darien) McCombs; and twin sister, Jane Greene Almond.
