John Barbee

John Wilson Barbee "Pops", 76, of Locust, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.

Mr. Barbee was born December 11, 1944 in Cabarrus County to the late Grover Cletus Barbee and the late Cora Bell Barbee.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Survivors include son, Reggie Wilson (Jewell) Carroll of Mount Pleasant, NC, daughter, Dana Drye-Nixon of Concord, NC; sister, Barbara Goins of Norwood, NC; grandchildren Kristine (Matt) Gagnon, Brandon Carroll, Tristam Bost, and Benjamin Nixon and 1 great-granddaughter, Kylee Gagnon.
