John Clontz, Jr.

John Thomas Clontz, Jr, 66 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System Northeast in Concord.

Mr. Clontz was born January 2, 1952 in Stanly County to the late John Thomas Clontz, Sr  and Hazel Burris Clontz.

Johnny enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He was a beloved father, son and brother.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor David Howard.

In addition to his mother, survivors include son, John Clontz III of Albemarle; sisters, Aleata Farmer of Locust and Pamela Hopkins of Mt. Pleasant.
