John Connell

John Henry Connell, Jr., 91, of Stanfield, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at the NC State Veterans Home in Salisbury

Mr. Connell was born January 5, 1929 to the late Rev. John Henry and Annie Bright Connell. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughters, Beverly Smith, and Velinda Munson.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 4311 Love Mill Rd., Stanfield, officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry.

John is survived by: son, John Michael (Gail) Connell of Fayetteville; daughter, Cindy (Frankie) Newell of Concord; grandchildren, D.J., Amanda,  Jason, Michele, Mark, Candace, and Amber.

Mr. Connell proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
