John Craig, Sr

John Steve Craig, Sr., 84, of Gold Hill, NC passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at his home. Mr. Craig was born September 13, 1928 in Union County to the late William DeWitt Craig and Kate Little Craig. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Craig, daughter, Peggy Broome, son, David Stirewalt and grandson, Brandon Craig. The family will receive friends on May 1, 2013 from 6pm-8pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. The funeral service will be at 2 pm on May 2 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord , officiated by his son, Rev. Steve Craig Jr. Burial will follow at Brookhill Gardens in Rockwell, NC. Survivors include sons, Steve Craig Jr, and Perry Allen Craig; daughters, Renee Trexler, and Debra Foutz; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Craig family.
