John Flowe, Sr

Biography John Edward (Johnny) Flowe died on April 13, 2015 at White Oak Manor, York, S. C. He was born December 20, 1928 in Mecklenburg County to the late Sadie Black Flowe and Henry Vernon Flowe.
He lived his entire life in Midland, N.C. He was a graduate of Bethel High School Class of 1947. Johnny worked for many years in the service department of Young Ford in Charlotte.
He was predeceased by a son, John Edward Flowe, Jr. and a sister Sarah Black Flowe.
Survivors include a much loved granddaughter Amanda June Flowe of York, S.C., two sisters Helen June Flowe of Morningside Assisted Living in Concord, Ann Flowe Morris and her husband Roy of Charlotte, two nieces Laura Harding of Dallas, Texas, Leta Withers and a nephew Charles Morris of Charlotte.
His dog, Jessie, gave him much pleasure and comfort in the last few years.
A graveside service will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church in Midland on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 am.
