John Frank Rummage, 94, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Atrium Hospice Union in Monroe.
John was born June 15, 1930 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Harris Rummage and the late Lula Rummage.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Gladys (of 67 years).
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A service honoring John's life will immediately follow the visitation at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. Burial will follow at the Bethesda Cemetery at Jana Road, in Albemarle, NC.
Survivors include son, Wayne Rummage (Nancy), daughter, Jeanette Eatman (Barrett), three grandchildren, Brandon Rummage, Eric Rummage (Amy), and Jana Eatman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John's name to Cottonville Baptist Church, 4888 Plank Road, Norwood, NC 28128.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Rummage family.
