John Furr

John Junior Furr, age 86, of Concord, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Avante of Concord. Mr.Furr was born December 25, 1926 to the late Lewis and Martha Furr . The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord Chapel. Burial will be held at the Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Kannapolis. He is survived by his loving wife, Lettie Furr of Concord; a son, Johnny Furr; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two stepsons, Danny Lewis and Rick Lewis; stepdaughter, Linda Cline; brother, Gerald Furr; sister, Willene Simpson. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Furr family.
