John Goodman
February 17, 1940 — January 28, 2017
John Wayne Goodman, 76 years of age, of Gold Hill, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Goodman was born February 17, 1940 in Cabarrus County to the late John Osborne Goodman and the late Venola Magdalene Marshall. He was also preceded in death by his sister and brother.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Monday, January 30, 2017, at Concord Church of the Nazarene, 2520 Hwy 49 N, Concord. The memorial service will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Harold Davis, Jr.
Survivors include wife of 58 years, Lucy Goodman of Gold Hill; daughters, Sabrina Goodman Harper and Wendy Goodman Brindle and husband Jeff; and grandchildren, Aubrey Harper, Allie Brindle, Seth Harper and Anna Brindle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
