John Haggerty Jr.,

John Lewis Haggerty Jr., 42, of Midland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his residence in Midland. He was a loving husband, father, brother and son.

Mr. Haggerty was born September 11, 1978 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to John Louis Haggerty Sr. and Diane Bowers Haggerty. He was also preceded in death by John Butler, Ruth Haggerty Royer, William Haggerty, Darrell Lee Bowers, Sr., and Darrell Lee Bowers, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Locust Presbyterian Church in their sanctuary on December 29, 2020. The funeral service will follow and will be officiated by Josh Willis, Clinton Newton, and Rev. Ardy Skidmore. Burial will follow at the Locust Presbyterian Church Cemetery located at 607 W. Main Street, Locust.

Survivors include wife, Tiffany Haggerty of Midland, NC; father, John Louis Haggerty,Sr.; mother, Diane Bowers Haggerty of Midland, NC; children include, Ally & Lexi Figueroa, Emma, Luke, & John Haggerty, III; sisters, Crystal Grimsley, Jamie Kappes, and Stacy Campbell; nieces and nephews, Damian, Logan, Mackenzie Campbell, Isabelle Grimsley, Julie, Zaylie Kappes; and mother-in-law, Sonya Butler.

Pallbearers will be Casey Kappes, Timothy Mozurak, Daniel Bruner, Chris Brown, Erin Haggerty, and Darrell Lee Bowers, III.

He was an avid Christian, hunter, fisher and lover of outdoors. His occupation was in the construction field for 20 years.
