John Hargett

John Lindsey Hargett, 80, of Mount Pleasant, NC passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence.

John was born April 2, 1940 in Concord, North Carolina to the late George Crawford Hargett and the late Myrtle Ramsey Hargett.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Linda Kindley Hargett, brother Melvin "Butch" Hargett, and his sister Shirley Barringer.

The graveside service will be on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Howells Baptist Church Cemetery, 3800 Baptist Lane in Concord.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Hargett and Janet Hargett; grandchildren include Vanity, Ashley, and LJ. sister, Peg(Elmer) Helms, Sue (Joe) Spedowski, sister-in-law Kathy Hargett and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice. No flowers please.
