John Harris

John Carroll Harris, 87 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Pruitt Health in Harrisburg.
John was born October 17, 1927 in North Carolina to the late Robert Alexander Harris and the late Margaret Harris.
John and his loving wife, Joann were married in 1951. He began working at GT Barnes Construction in 1948 and later worked for Jeff Skidmore Builders from 1993 until 2005.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Friday, July 17, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord Chapel, officiated by Rev. Thomas Whidden. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Joann Harris of Concord; his daughter, Pamela Joann (John) Jarema; his granddaughter, Amy Elizabeth Johnson; grandson, Tristan Jarema; his great granddaughter, Juni Murillo; and his brother, Cody Harris
Memorials may be made to Cabarrus County Humane Society.
