John Hartman, Jr

John Hartman, Jr., 82 years of age, of Concord, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home in Concord.
He was born November 18, 1932 in Cabarrus County to the late John Hartman and the late Pauline Hartman. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Mary Jane Hartman; grandson, Trey Jasper Hartman; sister, Elizabeth Chavis; sister, Vergie James; brother, Bob Maxwell; sister, Catherine Mills; and sister, Lillie Poplin.
He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked as a mechanic at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, Monday, March 16, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. A graveside service will follow on Monday at 3:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis officiated by Rev. Ronald Hartman with full military honors by the Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard.
Survivors include wife, Mary Alice Green Hartman of Concord; son, Ronald (Jackie) Hartman of Kannapolis, NC; daughter, Vivian Jean Hartman of Salisbury, NC; grandson, Ronnie (Jennifer) Hartman, Jr. of Concord, NC; and grandson, Jonathan (Kristen) Hartman of Bolivia, NC; 8 great-grandchildren.
