John Mcanulty

John “Buck” Spencer McAnulty, age 86 of Albemarle, passed away on August 22, 2011 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Albemarle, NC. A graveside service will be conducted at Poplin Grove Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 1pm, officiated by Dr. Roger Thomas. There is no scheduled visitation. Mr. McAnulty was born in Mt. Pleasant, NC on November 06, 1924, to the late Floyd Barrier McAnulty and the late Rhoda Hyman McAnulty. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Quida Morton McAnulty and his second wife, Christine Cox McAnulty; 2 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his sister-in-law and caregiver, Josephine Pierce. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Albemarle, 202 N. Second Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
