John M.D.

John Wesley De Reamer, M.D. age 88 of Badin, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Dr. De Reamer was born in Clarendon, VT on July 25, 1923 to the late Robert Wesley De Reamer and the late Grace M. Lawrence De Reamer. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Grace De Reamer, of the home. Dr. De Reamer graduated as valedictorian from The Pennington School in Pennington, VT. In 1946, he graduated from Duke School of Medicine, and went on to be a dermatologist. He served his country honorably in the Army during WWII. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the De Reamer family.
