John Nance

John Wilson Nance, age 88 of Stanfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his home. Mr. Nance was born on November 25, 1923 in Union County to the late Jonah Nance and the late Cora Rachel Howard Nance. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland, NC. The funeral service will be 2:00 Friday at Indian Hill Presbyterian: 8349 Hwy 200, Stanfield, NC. Rev. Rick Brundin will officiate. He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Nance Drake of Stanfield; brother Hoover Nance of Charlotte; two sisters, Addie Whitmore of Monroe and Betty Jackson of Matthews; two grandchildren Amy Huneycutt of Stanfield and Lori Dulin of Oakboro, and 4 great-grandchilden. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Nance family.
