John Pinion

John Bunyan Pinion, 89 years of age, of Midland, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

John was born April 3, 1926 in Cabarrus County to the late John Henry Pinion and the late Martha Ann Ford Pinion. He was also preceded in death by wife, Mary Evelyn Mullis Pinion in 2008; brother, Lewis Pinion; and sister Eunice Pinion Clontz.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, May 11, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The graveside service officiated by Rev. Don Lisk will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Clear Creek Church Cemetery, 9015 Ferguson Rd., Charlotte, NC 28227.

He is survived by son, Michael D. Pinion and wife, Rebecca of Midland; grandson, Michael S. Pinion and wife, Debbie of Midland; granddaughter, Donna Pinion and Eddy Cagle of Mt. Pleasant; great-grandson, Aaron Pinion of Midland; great-granddaughter, Lily of Concord and Tiffany Jenkins and husband, Darrell of Mt Pleasant; great great-grandson, Hunter; great great-granddaughter, Aubrey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
