John Teeter, Jr

Mr. John C. Teeter, Jr., born in Stanfield, NC, died August 27, 2009 at Hospice of Union County. He served in the US Army and was a veteran of WWII. He was a retired store owner in Midland. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, Midland, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife Eula Frances Little, father John Con Teeter and mother Mattie Love Teeter. Surviving family include his son John Teeter, III of Midland and grandson Matt Teeter of Sterlings, VA. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 29 from 7-9:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home-Midland. The service for Mr. Teeter will be held on Sunday, August 30, at 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church -Midland. Rev. Thomas Gibbs officiating.
