John Watson

Mr. John Christopher "Chris" Watson, Sr. age 59 of Concord, NC passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at CMC-University in Charlotte. Born on December 24, 1950 in Wake County to the late Ralph Parrish Watson and the late Doris Mae Parker Watson. Also preceded in death by a sister Susan Lee McIntyre. Mr. Watson graduated from Pfeiffer College with a Bachelors Degree in Administration. He was an Insurance agent with Allstate in Charlotte, and was of the Methodist faith. Chris was a member of Joppa Masonic Lodge #530 A.F. & A.M. of Charlotte, NC, and a member of the Oasis Shrine. Chris was the former owner of Charlotte Diesel Driving School. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Survived by: wife, Joy Phillips Watson of the home; sons, John C. Watson, Jr. and wife Angela of Salisbury, Robert A. Watson and wife Jennifer of Concord, and Andrew J. Watson of Concord; grandson, Tyler Watson; niece, Eve Pilkington and husband Tom, and great-nephew, Luke Pilkington; nephew, Glenn McIntyre.
