Johnlyn Poplin

Johnlyn Bolton Poplin, age 81 of Albemarle, NC 28001, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Lutheran Home of Albemarle. Born in Stanly County on August 31, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Elwood Poplin in 2004, her mother- Anna Bailey Bolton and father- Wreather B. Bolton. sister Mary Frances Speight, her brothers Walter Bolton and Bill Bolton. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Tonya Poplin Adams of Monroe, NC; her sons Woody Poplin and future wife Dolly Tyndall of Troy, NC; Monty Poplin of Belmont NC; her grandchildren Hannah Poplin, Luke Adams, Shelby Adams and Justin Tyndall; Great-Grandchildren – Keegan Woolwine, Grayson Woolwine. Visitation will be Monday, March 1, 2010 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral will be Tuesday, March 2, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1309 Old Charlotte Rd, Albemarle, NC with a 30 minute state. Burial at Fairview Memorial Park. Rev. Joe Smith and Rev. Danny Laws officiating. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
