Johnny Arey, Jr

Johnny Reid Arey, Jr., 47 years of age, of Kannapolis, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 11, 2014.

Johnny was born January 24, 1967 in North Carolina to the late Johnny Reid Arey Sr. and Patricia Elaine Efrid.

The family will receive friends Friday October 17, 2014 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.

Survivors include his son Jonathan Nance of Charlotte, NC; mother, Patricia Elaine Efrid of Kannapolis; two brothers, Bobby Lee Smith of Monroe and Roger Lee Smith of Kannapolis; grandmother, Mary Helms Herrin of Kannapolis; and two grandchildren.
